Big Explosion in San Bruno — Flames Visible From Shoreline Drive

Just drove down Shoreline and saw a huge plume of smoke and leaping flames on a hillside in San Bruno.

The San Jose Mercury News is reporting that the fire started on the hill but has now spread to a residential area and is burning homes, with flames shooting 20 feet up into the air….
